     POPcinema:
  • Licenses and acquires feature length films, shorts and film libraries from producers, filmmakers and agents spanning the globe.

  • Maintains and procures a diverse mix of films in many genres within the independent and 'B' movie realm including (English-language and foreign-language) horror, thrillers, comedy, dramas, erotica, underground, art house and exploitation as well as international cinema.

  • Handles newly produced films in addition to films from the 1960s through the 90s.

  • Generally licenses all rights to a film - domestic and Canada home video, domestic broadcast, Internet and all foreign rights. However, under certain circumstances, ei will work with individuals that want to license only domestic U.S. and Canada home video rights.

  • Typically licenses films for a period of seven (7) to ten (10) years.

  • Provides semi-annual accounting with royalty payments based upon a percentage of the total net earnings generated by a film.

  • Considers up-front advances on a film-by-film basis.

  • Creates all appropriate and essential key and supplementary artwork and marketing/advertising materials in-house. This procedure frequently results in the creation of original studio photography for said artwork.

  • Will work with filmmakers to produce and/or acquire programming to serve as DVD supplemental material to support their films' releases.

  • Pursues innovative revenue streams, new media outlets and cutting edge technology in seeking distribution for a film.

  • Prides itself on building long-term relationships with filmmakers, agents, producers and collaborators.

  • Requires delivery on BetaCam SP or DigiBeta; on film elements when applicable.
